Aubrey is an author, a radio host and a graduate student. She currently hosts a weekly book review show for KMRB. She graduated from the University of Hong Kong with 1st-Class Honours, wrote columns for 《年青人周報》, 《快報》, 《新報》, 《Magpaper》, 《HomeNet》, 《星島日報》, 《姊妹》, 《雅舍》 and finished her first book 《Bcc》(a collection of short stories) in Hong Kong when she was in school in the 1990s. She then got very sick, moved to the States and spent a few years in a cave. She finally found her home in Los Angeles, California and started writing again for a Downtown LA blog, the print version of this L.A. women's magazine, hosted a TV show for Viola TV and is now pursuing her Ph.D. degree in cinema studies at UC Riverside. She is also finding time to write her second book (a collection of poems about watching movies) between classes like a chicken with its head cut off. She can be reached by email.
